My Cambo CA GFX Canon lens adapter has arrived. Well made, and it works as advertised with the Canon 24mm TS-E lens, which becomes equivalent to approx 19mm on the GFX
The Cambo CA GFX has a built in battery and a small rear facing led screen that displays the lens focal lengh (24mm in the case of the Canon TS-E tilt shift lens I have tried it with) and the selected aperture. The aperture is set using a small dial top left of the adapter.
Quite a pricey adapter but it is well made, smaller than the mock up shots suggested, and most importantly, liberates the 24mm TS-E (and other Canon lenses) for proper use with apertures selectable using the adapter.
Supplied along with a small cambo storage charger to recharge the adapter as required. A nice touch.
I may post a few shots of the GFX with the adapted 24mm TS-E as and when I have a few spare moments.

I would love to see how you feel 10mm to 12mm of shift looks.
Any issues with vignetting in center or smearing at corners with shift.

During a very brief test today, good coverage accross the frame even when shifted, yet to try tilt, some corner smearing fully shifted. It looks good. I'm judging from looking at test shots on the back of the GFX. I will get a better idea when I can look at shots on a computer.
I would love to see how you feel 10mm to 12mm of shift looks.
Any issues with vignetting in center or smearing at corners with shift.

Both these shots are shot at about F/8 and are shifted upwards, and decoded in ACR using default sharpness settings etc, with some rotation to correct for hand held errors and a bit of exposure / contrast tweaking, saved as Jpegs, quality 10.
The only purpose of these shots is to give people a base point to assess acceptability of the combo. I tried to be careful with focusing, but cannot say any aspect of these shots was done with the kind of care and attention to detail that I would normally hope, and they are of course hand-held. but here are my own views.
The Canon lens is good. Some smearing is apparent on the shifted corners. Vignetting and CA are very low. Lens coverage is excellent.
With more time and care, I would expect even better results, of course.

Because of the size of the Fuji sensor compared to a Canon (or Sony a7 series) a 12mm shift, as an example, will not give the same ratio of shift as it does on a smaller sensor. 12mm is still 12mm but represents a lesser degree of shift across a medium format sensor than it does on a full frame one.
Do you find that although you can get a decent degree of shift, the width of a shifted pano is noticeably reduced? If so, is it bothersome?

not so good compare to my old Aptus II 7 and rodenstock 28 !
I'd like to see a comparison between the (Fuji & 24 TS-e) vs (Nikon D810 & 19 pc-e)... while i've seen pretty good stuff coming out the GFX... i'm not convinced by all the samples made with ts-e lenses so far !

anyway, even on an arca RM3D and Rodenstock lenses 23 and 28... it's about 12mm ;-(

Given the circumstances, I disagree. More thorough testing is required, but I'm pretty happy so far.
