I like the top half of this very much. The Buddha is just visible enough and the definition in the trees is good too.
The bottom half seems undefined and muddy and my eyes just don't want to wander there.
I think a square (or maybe 4x5) crop eliminating the lower portion would make a stronger image.

It's the sort of image that has kept me far from the woods; you never know what you may encounter within. I have similar feelings about abandoned factories and structures of that kind. In this case, it doesn't strike me as a straight photograph, but a ghostly comp.
So yeah, it works - too well!
