Title: Theory behind sharpening

Hello,

I seem to recall a reference to a book with a title something like "The Art of Photography, 9th edition", which covered the technical aspects of sharpening and accutance.

I can't seem to find the reference.

Could someone give me the reference, or another recommendation?

Not yet released, but Bruce Fraser's new book, Real World Sharpening with Adobe Photoshop CS2 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0321449916/sr=1-2/qid=1153232241/ref=pd_bbs_2/104-8021144-8204721?ie=UTF8&s=books), may be what you are looking for.
