Title: Sunset in the Fog, Maurepas Swamp
Post by: RMW on January 05, 2017, 11:29:50 pm

Found this 2 days after Christmas.
The weather was warm and humid. It got up into the high 70s and the fog stayed thick all day.
Louisiana weather: maybe it's inebriated, too?

Impressive capture.

The lack of detail in parts of this image (maybe it is just my monitor) adds immeasurably to the moody, broody atmosphere that I think you were trying to capture.

Exquisite result!

Sombre and muddy mood, good one.

Thank you Paulo and Tony.
It's gratifying to receive your support. Winter in the LA wetlands is considered by most to be un-appetizing. To find and make a good image of it really feels nice.
