Since the update to LR (I subscribe to the CC version) a few days ago I have started getting an odd message whenever I exit and backup my files. The message I receive is this:
"Catalog size is more than 4GB"....then recommending that a third party compression be used.
BUT, when I go to my LR catalog file and click on "get info" it tells me that my file size is in fact only 59.5MB.
Is anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions?
Thanks and Happy Holidays!

I had the same "error" message - my cats only 9.8MB.

I think "don't show again" is a box to tick in the actual Lightroom warning dialogue. The warning itself is a bug which slipped through Adobe's quality control ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D and can be ignored.

Thanks, Rikk. I appreciate you're on top of this and sharing info and a fix.
Unfortunately we all now expect any new version of LR or PS will contain some never before seen bug(s). At least this one was easy to deal with once my heart stopped pounding. BTW, when all the dust settled the catalog on this MBP was 8.4 MB.

Thanks for the info Rick and dtrozzo. Much appreciated.

Ahhh man, now I'm really feeling like a damm fool!! :-[
Thanks for clearing that up, I would have spent untold hours looking for the phrase "don't show again" on that web page.
