Title: Alternative RAW software

Is there alternative software to the Capture One Pro software to open the RAW files. I tried out the 30 day free trial Capture One Pro software some time ago so unless I pay the $500 for the software I am unable to open the RAW files on the DVD. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I'd appreciate some advice on this too. Even ACR doesn't seem to recognise the files...

All of the files except for those from the  P45 can be opened with ACR, or any number of other raw converters. At the moment only C1 can open P45 files, but you can expect a future release of ACR and Lightroom to support them as well.

You can also work with RawDeveloper from IridientDigital  to process P45 files
although the few times I have gone this route I have ended up with a disturbing
'tiled' texture when I sharpen the file from within RawDeveloper.

With sharpening disabled the files are excellent
