I like much this kind of images, athis your one is IMHO very good.   Only, I would prefer more pixel to better appreciate tones and detail.

Connecticut has some beautiful spots, but you seem to be finding places that really resonate with your soul on or near your island.

The B&W treatment captures the desolation of the river itself. Not many fish at this time of the year.
