Hi,
One region I would recommend in Europe are the Dolomites in Italy. This spot is one of the landmarks and it is easily accessible by car .
Getting there:
Drive along S49 between BRUNICO/Brüneck and San Candido/Innichen. Take S48BIS, direction Cortina D'Ampezzo. Take left just before Missurina, There is a toll road going up to the Tre Cime/Drei Zinnen. There is parking at a hotel at something like 2100 m (above see level).
