I do like that lens.  My most recent shot that is on the web is a stitched panorama from Glacier National Park taken on 9/28.  See http://www.paulroark.com/Swiftcurrent-Lake.jpg

I have put a rubber band around the base as close to the camera as possible to help me grab it for mounting/un-mounting.  I think I'll use some rubber cement to keep it where it belongs.  The lens can be awkward in this respect.
