Title: Nik Viveza & Sharpener Pro not working after Mac OS update
Post by: Chairman Bill on July 28, 2016, 04:15:27 pm
I've run the update 10.11.6 for Mac OS X, and since doing so, some Nik applications are simply delivering a black image, namely Viveza & Sharpener. Anyone else had a similar experience?

OK, thanks for the info. It's a bit odd that only some are not working properly. Maybe they just don't like me.

I would try re-installing NiK

I would try re-installing NiK

After trying all sorts of things, I think that's what I'm going to have to do.

I had a lot of issues trying to get my PS CC plugins to show up.  PS CC 2015.5 is supposed to support them in two locations, the traditional one inside the application folder, and the new "shared" location which Adobe is encouraging all plugin developers to support, to make updating photoshop easier.

I had to move my plugins to this new location for photoshop to recognize them.  You might try that.
