Title: My largest print yet

Just a little tooting of my own horn here but I had to share because I'm happy with how this project came out.
I licensed an image I took during a mountain bike race last year to the Orthopedic doctor's office that sponsors a bunch of riders and is really involved in the sport (and others).
I was shooting all the racers to sell to them directly while also trying to set up for some "big" shots with more commercial value like this one as I spotted them. I was standing on my toes on a boulder to get this view with the mountains in the background. The Pentax 60-250/4 was the lens of choice to bring those mountains in closer. Love that lens!

We got it printed as a 16' print at http://www.eazywallz.com/ and they print in 3' sections on what are basically big stickers that you reassemble into your complete image on the wall, trimming around fixtures and doorways. This was shot with a crop sensor camera, a Pentax K-3 which is 24MP. I was a little concerned it might not look as good printed this large but in my option it looks great and the client is also very happy with it. The shot came out very sharp which helped as well as it being converted to monochrome.

Yes, that helped with selecting this image. It fit.
