Title: Epson ICC Legacy paper profiles usable with Epson 3800 printer?

For example, is Epson's Legacy ICC profile titled "Epson_SP3880_Legacy_Platine_PK_v1" useful on the Epson 3800 printer.
(Understood that ink set is slightly different between 3800 and 3880.)
I will of course test, but wondered what others have experienced.
Are Legacy profiles available specifically for 3800? Might be time to upgrade my printer...

it'd cost a lot less to have custom profiles made

I think you'd have more success using the Canson profiles for the 3800 since they very much appear to be the same paper  (see other threads)
