It's like a time machine animating stills from Shorpy.com archive which they credit at the end where quite few of those are sourced from the Library of Congress.

They must've 3D vector mapped the stills of the human figures and buildings in those images and combined them in an animation suite.

They did a really good job. The 3D stereo audio is remarkable as well especially listening on headphones.

All I'm seeing is the "Behance.net" link under the Shorpy.com link that only shows individual frames of the video so could you provide the link to the video that shows how they did it? I'm not finding it.

Absolutely charming, thanks for sharing!

Felt like I was under some sort of spell until the very end...

One observation though: this beautiful thing was done by people of the generation that already doesn't know how scratches actually looked on film  :D
