Title: Need advice on my new 14-24mm Nikon lens. Is this normal?

I have a question on the Nikon 14-24mm.  I just got a new one from B&H.  As I was testing it I switched to manual Focus and zoomed out to 14mm.  I opened live view and went to maximum magnification on the LCD back screen.  I then slowly turned the zoom ring and noticed that when I was zooming the image shifted.  Instead of just seeing the magnification increase I saw the image mover a bit horizontally and vertically.

Is this normal for this lens or is something mechanically wrong with it? ???
