Title: Olympus E-M5

A question for owners of the camera. I use the camera in single AF mode but sometimes after I zoom a lens it won't focus. I have discovered it changes to MF and I have to re set it to single AF. This is annoying because you can miss some shots. Anyone else noticed this and do they have a solution? TIA

Except in the case of my accidentally moving the >>ring<< on the 12-40/2.8 when zooming or focus-adjusting --moving this lenses ring from AF to MF position--, I haven't had AF-to-MF behavior.
Perhaps it will help to know exactly with which lens(es) you have experienced this?

The lens is a Tamron 14 -150

I have never heard of this before.  If you pull up the super control panel (usually the OK button) is your focus on Single AF to start with?  And then if you turn the ring...and go back into the SCP... does it show your focus mode as MF ? 

That is what you are describing... can you confirm your findings?

I think I have solved the problem. I had the fn1 button set to MF and I might have been pressing it intermittently.  ::)

That will do it! 
You can scan your custom button setups in the super control panel in the bottom right hand box!  Quick for double checking or diving in to make a change.
