Trying too hard for a kitsch?

I think you may be on something: your image remember me of all the images of people fixed on their smartphones.

IMHO it could be a good project to document the way these "grabbing technologies" isolates us from each others.

Intriguing… what are they trying to do or waiting for?

Well done!

This one wants a sound track: All the "Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!" chimping noises!

Nice one Stamper!

It was taken at a political protest a few years ago. Today I came across it whilst going through a back up hard disk of my images. Alas I don't remember.

Very, very nice one; thanks for sharing.

I remember story I heard some time ago... Rather, watched; it was in one of the B&H video, IIRC. One of the prominent sports photographers told the story behind one of his great shots, I believe it was one of a tennis match -- he managed to capture it while pretty much every other photog around him was chimping with their cameras, presumably examining previous shots... Yeah, I bet they all managed to make necessary adjustments to exposure, WB and the rest of those oh-so-important things, but they completely missed the moment.

You kept watching and were awarded with this great shot...

A great grab, Robert! Love the guy on the right, chimping his neighbor's shot.
