Title: minor lens adjustments in post (architecture)

I find Lightroom's lens corrections pretty poor for correcting distortion and the small corrections needed for when the camera wasn't exactly straight (human error sadly). Is there software that is more intricate?
I have heard of PTGUI being used on single images for this but it does seem intuitive for single image corrections.

Anyone using anything else?

I've been photographing church windows and have had the problem of getting the sides of the windows vertical after having to take the images from below the windows' horizontal plane.
I've tried PTLens with little success and also warping in Photoshop, but I can see it's not right even if no one else can.
I'm afraid I haven't found anything better than Lightroom's manual correction for straightening single images.
I ended up splitting each window into two and stitching in AutopanoPro. The vertical tool nailed it in seconds.

Not more intricate, but certainly more effective with excellent keystoning.

Transform ---> Distort in Photoshop.  and bring in guides wherever you need them...

You might want to take a look at the Adaptable Wide Angle filter in PS.

Can you post some examples of what you are seeing that is "not right" in your eyes. I find the perspective correction in Lightroom and C1 pro pretty good if you don't stretch the pixels too much, but maybe I'm not critical enough.

Yes, this works very well.

Now, the C1 Pro tool is pretty good too, so I end up using it for a majority of cases.
