There is a sense of desolation, plus the mist, make for an interesting photo. Not the usual "pretty" coastline shot.

I agree with Paulo but have a problem with the lighter foreground. Did you use a grad ND filter?

That's a great point. In all honesty, I didn't notice that until you mentioned it. No ND filter but I may have done something in post that caused that. Back to LR with me!!

Love the tones and the mist. Just a bit less light on foreground and will great!
I wonder how would it look with the brunch on the left side  ::), but of course, that would be another pic. Great job!

Me too. If you had moved right you might have gotten converging lines from the hills and the stick.

Interesting idea, converging lines. Too bad I'm now in Boston and can't go back! And Bruno, I checked and I used a graduated filter in Lightroom, which I have modified so the sand is more uniform. It's better. Thanks all!!
