Title: Recycling Silicon Release Paper

The adhesive I use in my dry mount press has a lovely slippy slidy paper backing which I suppose is treated with silicon. It seems criminal to throw it away and I'm thinking it would be good for interleaving prints. Does anyone know if it is likely do any harm to the prints short or long term?

I store the sheets too but more to use them for silicon paper appropriate tasks. For interleaving I fear that day that a minute particle of glue is offset to the print or silicon migrates to the surface of a print.
Could all be imagination of course.
