Yes, black is darker. There is new/old technology printhead. Quality is a bit better than x900 serie and price is almost the same. So it's sill old good Epson ...again.

Soon I will post some interview and more videos about P9000. I will buy it next Year

Do you think the print head longevity will be better?

I guess print head longevity will be better because of new ink formula. Just take care of it, dont let it dry and use Epson inks.
