Title: Two catalog same files. two people worked on files how to merge them w/o loss

Hi new here. This is my question I duplicated the CO8 catalog then gave one to a friend and then worked on the other set. Now I want to merge the files together so i have one catalog with all my changes with my friends changes included, is this possible?  and if not can I use a different method, be it sessions, exporting out the result separately. Trying to avoid destroying the work we have done together. Any ideas of the best workflow for a situation like this? I read the manual and it seems it would use one of the corrections or other and not go through it on an individual basis. There are over 4000 images so I need to tread carefully :-[ TIA :-*

Import your friends Catalog into your Catalog.

(File>Import Catalog)

Follow what the dialog says!  ;)
