Title: Latest Lightroom update question

I have been away from my computer for 3 weeks as as yet not download the latest Lightroom update.

I am wanting to open Lightroom on my Mac, but fear that as I have Lightroom CC the update will download automatically as I launch Lightroom.

Will this occur?  If so how to I stop the download as I am only wanting to download the latest Lightroom update once all the bugs  and the existing import difficulties are rectified

You should be OK, Sue.  You have to update CC via the Creative Cloud App.  I don't think you can set it to update automatically.

Plus her Mac is gonna ask for her password before it will install an update, so she has double protection from an unwanted update.

Thanks Rick and Carl - I can now work and import photos without any issues of update creeping up on me.
