Title: CC 2015 Photo Package upgrade

Trying to upgrade from CC 2014 to 2015. Desktop installer does spinning wheel forever. Downloaded a new copy of desktop installer. Won't open. There always seems to be a magic trick with Adobe installs. Can someone tell me what it is so I can avoid waiting twenty minutes for the hour long chat?  Perhaps one must tug on one's left ear while downloading?  Thanks!
