Guys I live in Malaysia and have limited access to printing paper. I have been given this list for A2 paper and would like some recommendations on what to get from this list
I want to print in both B&W and color and more than happy to buy a couple

I gather you have an Epson printer as that appears to be an Epson paper list.
I have the P800 printer and use the Premium Luster photo paper for colour and B&W and I'm very pleased with the results.
I also have the Premium glossy photo paper and get good results but prefer the Luster.

Paul yea mate I have the P807 arriving in Malaysia in two weeks time. I see the luster is only 16" is that still classed as A2
I will order a roll of it

The key choice you need to make is whether to print matte or gloss (luster). The former has a nice feel and conveys a certain mood, but the latter has much better blacks and gamut. Once you make that basic decision, then decide whether you prefer warm-tone or cooler-tone papers, and that will narrow it further. It's hard to tell someone else what to use, because so much of this is a matter of taste. If your dealer has a sample book of these papers (Epson provides them) and you can see it, that would help you a lot.

A2 is 16.5" wide so so close it doesn't matter, I have A2 sheets of the glossy and the Luster paper on roll feed.

since your new printer P807 works better with sheet paper
if your most of your work are NOT pano,
getting A2 sheets would be much easier to work with.
I personally just not a fan of using roll paper without a cutter right next to the printhead.

Why do you say that?
I thought the design of the P807 is to have the roll feeder?

It does, but it doesn't have a auto cutter
when u use roll paper, it will print a line to show you where you should cut the paper.
Maybe I'm just not good in it, but I had never cut it correctly.
So I usually cut a bit more and use a knife and ruler to cut it again on the table.
that means every time i will need to waste a bit of paper
and I just don't like the process of it

I don't mind it, I use large scissors to cut the paper off the roll once its extended and have had no issues.
It is a bit wasteful of paper but not enough to bother me, I can use the roll or sheet paper without a preference.

Well, Neil, the list you attached doesn't begin to cover the papers that are available. Mark has given you good counsel. If you're totally clueless about what to use, just do what he suggests and get some sample packs. Make some prints. Figure out what you like. Most of us end up enjoying a number of different papers.
I'd also recommend holding off on buying a roll of any kind of paper until you have some idea of what you want.

I just want to get a couple of choices from the available media in KL (That I know off) and take it from there.........as a rule of thumb would you say that you would use a different media for B&W than what you would use for say colour?

It is hard to go wrong with the Premium Luster.
Lots of fun to be had trying papers. As suggested, get some sample packs. It is quite interesting to see the same image printed on different papers.
