Title: Source for 9900 print head

I inherited a 9900 with a bad print head. I am trying to source a new print head to give to a local guy who will install it. The cheapest one I can find is $1200. Can anyone beat that price?

And you have experience buying an Epson 9900 print head off a particular seller on alibaba and can confirm its quality?

$1,200.00 is about right, based on what I have read in the past.  Make sure it's a new print head, not a reconditioned one, and make sure you get the head printout.  You have to input all the head numbers into the printer after you install it.
