Title: Panasonic GX7 LR camera profiles

I have now Panasonic GX7, a 20mm f/1.7, a 15mm Panasonic Leica and a 42,5mm Panasonic Leica lenses.

My version of LR doesn't have - as usual - the camera profiles for any of these combos and treats the raw files rather... badly.

I would like to download the correct profiles - *.dcp files - to work with, so I can get consistent good results on my photographs.

I have been Googling but I couldn't come to a solution. Working on iMac.

I think that the camera profiles to be used should be under Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles.

In there only one file: index.dat No dcp files !

Can anybody give me a help please ? Thank you.

optics correction data is embedded by camera's firmware in Panasonic .RW2 raw files and interpreted by ACR/LR (you can't switch it off w/o some technical tricks), that is if you question is about optics correction

if you question is about the camera profile then Adobe Standard is the one, Adobe just supplies one profile for Panasonic, that's it... the name of this profile is "Panasonic DMC-GX7 Adobe Standard.dcp" (at least it is so on PC/Windows and location is ....\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Adobe Standard\ )

I can't find Panasonic GX7 profiles to LR like I can find in DXO Optics Pro (http://www.dxo.com/us/photography/photo-software/dxo-opticspro).

And yes, this is what I am looking for. I am on iMac and I have not - so far - bought the DXO software.

DxO might provide optics corrections for some (many, a lot, etc) camera+lenses combos that they (DxO) think are better than supplied by camera's manufacturer(s) in their raw files based on whatever measurments they (DxO) do... the same situation is with CaptureOne and ACR/LR - you might also see profiles there supplied by PhaseOne or Adobe (or even 3rd parties) - but otherwise ACR/LR by default will always (you don't need to do anything at all) be using optics correction for Panasonic m43 cameras if such info is there and it is there for all Panasonic or Olympus or Sigma m43 AF lenses

My GX7 raw files take color tweaking but no big deal. Lens correction is automatic and one less thing to fool with!
