Going for an artsy look...do I go with B&W or Color?

I would go B&W but with even higher key than what you' r chosen the B&W turned the petals (?) into ballet dancers. IMO he colour is too realistic for the same interpretation.

Something is either art or it's not...What do you mean by the term artsy?
