What’s Up with DXO?
« on: February 26, 2025, 11:15:56 pm »

I have been using DXO since its inception, constantly upgrading. I now have on my Desktop Photolab 8 Elite. I just bought a new Laptop pc and was able to install Photolab on it. It was a brand new laptop that had no sound. I sent it back to the manufacturer, and part of the repair was reinstalling the operating system (Windows 11). That wiped out all my installed apps. When I try to go to DXO website I keep getting messages that their site is under repair, and mostly in a language other than English. Anyone else try to get to their site? I also have their Viewpoint, and FilmPack 7. When I first got my new laptop, I had no trouble down loading DXO Photolab 8. But the laptop repair and reinstalling the operating system wiped out all my installed apps (GRRR!!!).

thanks all

Dave, I wonder if the URL you are using got wiggled somehow.  I don't use DXO but a visit to DXO.com (in the US) works OK for me (using Chrome on Windows 10 as my browser).

Take a look at the actual web address in your browser if it happens again.

Thanks all. I was able to finally reach their Site. I went to the Log In page. It is very well done: It lists all my purchased Apps, along with their License Key. Easy matter to select "COPY" and then copy the key, download the Aps to my new Laptop, then use "Paste" when asked for the license key. I was able to download and install Photolab 8 Elite, Viewpoint, and Filmpack 7.

I am up and running on my new Laptop.
