Nice shot. Were you impressed? I remember going there a long time ago and being rather disappointed: the statistics are amazing the falls, rather underwhelming.

Yes and no on being impressed. My friends tell me I have to go mid spring thaw when the falls are really cooking...but, there are more places on my bucket list so one trip was enough.

Humanity is getting spoiled by easy access to spectacular. Blame the Internet and overall abundance of travel opportunities.

When I wrote "a long time ago", I meant long before the Internet: I was there in 1980.

Both you and Slobodan are correct in your assessments of the falls. I had never been and was close enough to take the side trip. Both sides of the falls are "Dollywood's" on steroids and not at all pleasant to venture into. I was far more interested in getting a good, clean shot (or several) without benefit of stepping over a ton of other tourists. For that motive I think I succeeded. Here is another view, only this time in B&W.

I like that a lot, apart from the blown areas in the sky. Can you correct them, or perhaps crop them? They draw the eye.

This one is more impressive, in my opinion.
Well done.
