How was this type of image created? I assume mirrors were set up in a pentagon but wondered if there is a name for this kind of portrait or a name for the process.The image was probably created in France in the 1950s. Thanks.

I don't know but your idea about a five-mirror setup seems plausible. Let's see if someone knows the mechanical device that was used back then.
