I wish Portugal well. Heck, we all need a lot of luck now. But I don't see much difference between our two countries. To say we don't care about our own people is very insensitive thing to say. It's insulting. It's political. It's also wrong.
You live 3000 miles away on another continent. You have no personal knowledge of what we're doing here. You read the fake news American press and parrot all the bad things about Trump and my country. You don't drive around like I did yesterday and see every store closed except grocery stores and maybe a pizza shop or two. You didn't see every person who was out wearing a mask. You apparently didn't read how Trump and America built hospitals, sent medical ships, and helped during the worse outbreak in the worse areas. At least 90,000 health workers have been infected with hundred dying. We're working day and night to heal people and keep people economically whole. The fact we've shut down our entire economy says something. There are 30 million out of work already.
You seem to want to make political points and insult us. Why don't you worry about your own country. You might be counting your chickens before they hatch.
