Really. I do watch the news, but probably not the same channels or to the same extent that you do. I have heard of sexual orientation and gender identity, but not unlimited gender. I have not heard of the pronoun police for 50 years when the country was going through the Miss/Ms./Mrs. debate.

Hey make up whatever gender you want to be, makes it unlimited!

Here's a List of 58 Gender Options for Facebook Users

Not quite unlimited, but certainly enough to lampoon.

That’s only Facebook, it’s a big world ...

Trump speaks as I just did in the vernacular.  Most laymen don't know what's in chemo.  Sounds like scarey stuff.  And it is matter of fact.  People get awful sick when they're on it and it damages other parts of the body bedside the cancer cells.  It can kill.  After all, isn't it some kind of nuclear stuff?

But chemo today is modern and has been long worked on.  When someone mentioned it in the beginning, I'm sure everyone thought of only nuclear stuff getting pumping into peoples veins, not much different than pumping disinfectants in.  The point is could disinfectants be used safely to kill or control the spread of a virus in the body?  As a layman, I have no idea.  The attack on Trump was a political attack just as they've been doing for 4 1/2 years.  It's like they made fun of him when he said Obama was tapping his phone.  Smart people who aren't prejudiced against him knew what he as talking about.  But the press took him literally just to make fun of him.  It's a tired old schtick.  Only Trump haters play dumb and refuse to read between the lines.

Well, he is in politics after all.  He was not gifted with a thick skin unfortunately and the narcism just makes it worse as he feels he has to alway be the favored orange haired boy.

Teddy Roosevelt was similar in many ways, but he handled it better.

I guess that leaves you out of the smart category. With respect to injecting disinfectant, you said he was just thinking outside the box, and praised him for it. The next day he said he was being sarcastic. You obviously don't have a clue. In your defense, he probably doesn't either.
But he wasn't being sarcastic.  He meant it.  But when someone constantly makes fun of everything you say, you become defensive.  This is another case where smart people know where he's coming from.  But the Trump haters take him literally.  They don;t want to understand him.  So just like you called me stupid, you did the same thing to Trump.  There may be a lot of people here who don't agree with many of my viewpoints.  But I doubt if many think I'm stupid.

So I asked you a question you can't answer and you call me a racist.  No wonder you are so clueless.

I can easily answer your irrelevant question if it makes you feel better.
Of course, some people voted for him because of the colour of his skin.  They're racists, too.

Now, you answer mine, please: Why is it no longer "worth it" (his words) to appear at the press conferences?

No Alan, it is not nuclear stuff that is being dripped into thebody. Yes,it is chemicals that were found to work in the body and kill directly or indirectly cancer cells more than they kill healthy cells. it is a cost benefit prediction like any other medicine.

Some radionuclides are used to treat prostate cancer, for example, when they can be positioned at the tumor location. There are also radiation treatments that focus a beam of  nuclear particles into the tumor as well.

And no, you wont glow in the dark. 😊👍

SO?  Disinfectants are chemicals.  MAybe in the right dose they kill viruses without killing the patient. Are you a virologist who knows better.   Certainly TRump isn't and he looked at the experts when he made his comment asking them if that's something they could research.  But you'd rather take him and me literally and not use some imagination to stretch the point where it could be useful.  That's because you're acting political.   And so is the press.   It's all fake news.

Could have.  Remind me, were there any other orange people running?

Can there come a time where a black person wins and it isn't because of their skin colour?

I thought he "called like it is", or at least that's what you used to say a lot on these pages. How do we know when he is calling it like it is or when he's being sarcastic or just talking through his hat? Do you think it's ok for the President to shine on everyone like that all the time? Is that really his job?

Teddy Roosevelt had a lot of political experience in New York politics and as VP before he became president when President McKinley was assassinated in office. Unlike Trump he wasn't elected president until his second term as president.  He also was a big game hunter, a war hero, and a big drinker, things Trump never did either.

I didn't say you were stupid. I said you didn't meet you own criteria for smart. And I said you didn't have a clue what Trump was saying. That is hardly a critique. Most people, including his supporters, don't.

He also had a different name and wore glasses.

He wasn't being sarcastic.  He was making a valid point that was twisted to mean something he didn't say or mean.  Usual fake news.

Peter McLennan: What has he successfully protected you from so far?
(Not counting the "illegal immigrants" who mow your lawns, clean your hotel rooms and harvest your vegetables?)

China, CANADA, Mexico, NATO, NK, Russia.  Liberal SUPREME COURT JUDGES and starting to protect us from liberal  Federal Judges for a start.

China: acquired increased global power and dominance, especially in SE Asia and Africa due to Trump's withdrawal into "America First",
Mexico: I had no idea they were a threat.  I thought they were a cooperative trade partner, wall construction financier and neighbour.
NATO: weakened and dispirited due to threats by Trump of disengagement
NK: unchanged enmity, except for increased global stature due to Trump's lame photo ops
Russia: Google "Trump Putin Helsinki meeting"  esp. video of same.
Liberal SC Judges: a partisan matter irrelevant to this discussion of being "saved".
CANADA (upper case Lemson's)  see above, Mexico. I had no idea that, for decades and until very recently America's largest trading partner, continental neighbour and co-dweller along the world's longest undefended border was a threat, or that you needed "saving" from us. Sorry about that.

I understood clearly what he meant.  I agree with what he said.  Science should investigate how infrared, alcohol and other disinfectants might be used to kill virus material in the body since it has been proven that they are effective killing them outside the body.  Seems reasonable to me.  That's why they do research on animals first.

It's not.  He should have stuck to his guns and doubled down like I did.  You knpo, after a while, it gets tiring to listen to all the assaults.  Frankly, I'm amazed he's put up with it for so long. A lesser man would have thrown in the towel long ago.
