Is that the camera and back they announced in June 2019?

I hope that it will at least be fully functional from day 1 and that the users who waited 8.5 months won’t have to deal with a partial list of features and/or some bugs.

I can’t say that being an Hasselblad customer has been a rewarding experience.

- it took about one year for the very expensive H product I bought to behave as advertised
- Hasselblad has made zero effort to port to the H platform the firmware improvements developed for the X1D
- more than a year after the IQ4-150 was announced there is still no sign that H will attempt to compete and deliver a new H back with better tech camera behaviour
- the H line has been dropping in value faster than expected due to the total lack of communication of Hasselblad

So cheers is indeed nothing but my standard signature.

Dear all,

I have a Phase One IQ280 and a XF camera kit and I am tempted to buy a 907X+CFVII50C for my Hasselblad 503CW. I would like to use Capture One as library and ideally also for editing. As Hasselblad`s RAW 3 F files need to be imported in Phocus, what would be the best workflow ?

The price and features are very attempting. But I think XCDII would be a better choice.

1: 907x does not come with EVF, and probably intended.  Its WLF is a plus but may take quite some practice to get used to, particularly for quick composition, tracking, and focusing.
2: 907X does not have an integratible hand grip yet. It should be easy to add, but wold not be as convenient as  XCD type.
3: The biggest pro of 907X is to be part of the V system, but what's the point if the sensor is only 44x33? I not complaining the non-square format yet.
    For people happy with 44x33 format, XCDII is the way to go.

I still want a DB for my V stuffs, but that would be in the scale of 54mm or at least 49mm.

Or, forget about V, just go straight to XCDII.

Thanks a lot for the link. It's very interesting and useful.
I still think the lack of EVF is a mistake, but it may be OK if:
1: Always use a V body (exclude the 38mm). Because a V camera like 500xxx has a nice OVF and that does not need VF at all.
2: Use it with a proper LCD hood (may already exist)

But, the best wish is an integrated EVF + Grip from Hasselblad (using the USB-C connection?).

I really love the concept, i think it would make a perfect 2nd body along with the X1DII but there are a few things holding me back at this point...when hasselblad upgraded the X1D they chose a bigger rear LCD, this would be even more important on the CFV IMO, the camera has no finder, the LCD should be as large as possible,
also: right now I am not sure how comfortable shooting vertical would be with the CFV....We know that fuji can do a 2 hinge LCD, this camera needs one as well....
Some integrated way to attach a hood or classic chimney finder...with loupe....
I understand that this all might have added some weight and or size to the back, they did manage to fit the battery inside, which is great but i don’t think a larger LCD on a double hinge with some kind of frame to clip on a finder would have added that much in size or weight, maybe harder to fit in with the design?
