Purple Player Removal
« on: December 25, 2013, 07:43:13 pm »

Given there is no uninstall for this app has anyone figured out the best way to delete it and clean up erroneous files?

Chris - I removed the folders (Windows 7 64-bit) as described in the forum but when I go to the download section they show as "owned" with no apparent way to download them again without all the purple player junk.

I'm sorry to be obtuse but how do i just download the .mov files without all the rest, now that my computer is free of it?

Thanks,
Phil

I guess due to a case of wishful thinking, I mistakenly thought that once they could be viewed on other players, the app and downloading through it wouldn't be necessary and the files could be downloaded directly.

So much then for the so so easy days we all knew and enjoyed before all these "improvements" started...sigh...

Hi

I need to uninstall the Purple player  too what an awful experience compared to what we used to enjoy.

As of tomorrow (Jan 1), there will be links on the thank-you page and in the thank-you email to download the basic videos.

This will then allow you to store the files wherever you wish and play them in any media player as before.
