Aperture 3 database error-wont relaunch-Need Help

I'm running late finishing a job and the electricity went out twice in a 15 minute period. The result was the following (picture) attached.
I'm using a Mac Pro running Mountain Lion.

Well in general when you have power failures/brown-outs while actively using a database it can result in the database becoming corrupt.

Not knowing Aperture, I'd look for a DB rebuild or 'fix' function in the software, if there is one, otherwise you could restore from a recent backup.

I rebuilt the database with an Aperture tutorial on Apple's website. Thanks for helping out.
