I ended up ordering one from Conns Camera in Dublin.
Arrived in 8 days in perfect order.
Happy with their service.

I hope you're as happy with the camera.  It is a quirky little beast.  I love mine, but only when I'm in the mood to outsmart it and not in a hurry-up kind of shooting siutation.
Image quality is quite stunning for 12 MP.  And the quirkyness can actually be fun if you're in the right mood.  :-)

Very happy with the X-100 so far. It seems to me that the negatives about this camera have been exaggerated. I thought the same thing with the Oly E-P1 that I have. Very good image quality in a small package.  It is a touch sluggish at times. Managed some nice images with it at the Travers at Saratoga this past weekend. About 1/2 of these were shot with the X100.

Thanks for sharing.  Nice images and the kind of thing the X-100 is really good for.  

I'm loving the return to virtually silent photography.  I've achieved some nice candid portraiture of friends and family w/ my X-100.

Played around it at my camera store (well, not my store) while they had it for the few hours it took to sell it. The OVF/EVF is cool and all that, but not the second coming like many make it out to be. Very nice tactile controls, no question about it. Didn't bother to test the UI further. Solid feel which is erroneously often described as "build quality." I'm sure it's quite a nice camera, but for a very specific niche. Not mine, though, which is MFT.

Hopefully there will be further bold niche cameras coming out in the future from various manufacturers who realize that it's not always best business to build the camera appealing to the lowest common demoninator.
