Title: My work on exhibit at the San Diego Museum of Art
Post by: JonasYip on March 21, 2011, 04:40:41 pm
If any of you are in the San Diego area, or find yourself passing through, make a visit to the San Diego Museum of Art at Balboa Park where my series "Paris: Dialogue" is currently on display (thru June or July):

Here is the museum's description:

Oh, and this is the series in question:

Neither. Homemade lens crafted out of a cheap plastic magnifying glass.

Perhaps a little late to be mentioning this but this Thursday, June 9, in conjunction with this exhibit at the San Diego Museum of Art as part of their Summer Salon Series 2011, we will be presenting an evening of projections and multi-lingual poetry readings. Yes, the Dialogue poems will be presented in English, Chinese and Spanish, with some French thrown in for good measure. As for my pictures? Their language is universal, man...

Very nicely done. Images are wonderful. I'm not much for poetry but the entire presentation is one to be proud of.

Out of darkness, we fly - my favorite. Lovely atmosphere. Makes me want to be there. All the best with your show.
