Title: HP PRO SATIN

Does anyone know who makes the Pro Satin labeled as HP.

HP has is made in Germany and I'm wondering if is Ilford.

I've heard that about other HP paper (Premium Plus Photo), but can't confirm it.  Is HP Pro Satin still made?

Oh yea, it's the primary rc media for the Z series printers. There was a 6 month stretch when there was a slight manufacturing defect showing up with total black backgrounds. That was some kind of pressure from the machines making it in Germany. But all has been cool for sometime now.

Hahnemuhle makes all HP paper including those Everyday whatever photo paper.

Then I would say it is coated by Sihl and HP delivers a high quality RC paper base from another source to Sihl, The coating's spectral plot is similar to the Sihl 4803 but the HP paper base is more white. Sihl coats HM's papers anyway and I doubt HM makes a RC paperbase, something you can buy all over the world. The best fit for the paper base plot is Fuji's Crystal Archive BTW next to other HP RC qualities and other Fuji RC qualities.
