Yes, Kodachrome 64 Pro was the best for me: travelled well, little latent image failure over time (if any) and, if one was lucky, great processing. The best, in the sense of cleanest, that I found was in Lausanne, Switzerland and the worst in Madrid.

To be totally honest, though I loved Kodachrome and it makes lovely b/w conversions in PS, I think that the colours I get from the digi Nikons are superior. However, there was little wrong with Ektachrome 64 either, just as long as you could get it processed quickly and properly.

However, shooting the film putting in the little envelope and mailing it off, waiting, waiting... then reviewing the images when it came back in the mail is very different from digital work and Lightroom. Don't think I'd give up my digital camera now.

I'm still using "Kodachrome" because my camera's sensor was made by Kodak ;D Love the color, detail, dynamic range, & "grain". Lots of fond memories but I don't miss the film version at all.
