If anyone's got a couple of minutes, have a look at my new blog. I start it off with a review of 2009. Here's the link, http://www.haefnerphoto.com/blog/ (http://www.haefnerphoto.com/blog/). Jim

Saw the title "new blog" and thought "like we need yet another photo blog." Then saw it was from Jim - yes, we do need another one! Looks good!
Seems like Avedon gets around; I saw an Avedon exhibition at ICP in New York last year and in Amsterdam. The NYC was quite a bit better, as it was dedicated to Avedon's strongest work (fashion) with an excellent overview of all of his decades of work. But two of his best photos were only at Amsterdam, portraits of Brigitte Bardot and Marilyn Monroe, so in the end it was a draw between the shows.

VERY nice work.

Hi Jim
Looks like a very neat and interesting blog, great quality just like the rest of your work!
as I am interested to start one as well (do we need another one?)
I would love to know what your reaction has been from potential clients
and or how you have set it up to get the blog noticed other then here.
much appreciated

Yep, great work, the control of the light makes me think you could shoot any thing well!!
Great you are enthusiastic about your subjects, although America has never really made a good car (one that can go round bends fast) apart from the ford GT, which is ironic as you guys invented mass car production (model T) and also the control lay out with the Cardilac (Model 30)

Guys, Thanks for taking a look at my work! I intend to contribute as my schedule permits and items of interest pop up. So far, this forum and Facebook have been my only attempts to publicize the feature and it's interesting to note that I 've received more attention from this forum then all my friends on Facebook!!! About the natural light comment, I'm a little confused, as all the car shots were studio images stripped into backgrounds (the Maserati is an exception). I'll have some new work to post soon, it's the Chevrolet Volt announcement that as soon as I'm allowed will show up both on the blog and in the Recent Work thread. Jim

Excellent! Very nice and clean, speaks "professional" and invites one to stop, look and even read.
