Did quick product shot this morning with it - very fluid, really enjoyed turning off the main viewer as shots still being taken to check focus two images ago...highlight and shadow recovery works well, not a new technology but very useful to have in Phocus. Will continue to check other features throughout next week.

The floating 100% loupe is a zippy redux of a favorite tool from FlexColor (infamously known as "that scanner software" from our colleagues at P1)

I can't remember the LL member who always asks about live video on the H3DII-50, but I know he will be a happy camper now along with the other H3DII-50 owners.

Free download at hasselblad.com, Enjoy!

Perhaps others may share their experiences?

John

I will be a happy camper when I get the firmware update which is also required to enable live view on the H3D11-50.

¿I think the histogram end point (and mid point) control is useful?

And, once again, we Windows users remain an afterthought to Hasselbad -- nobody loves us

The Windows Phocus 2.0 beta has been in use for quite some time and it works well. Should be out soon. You will be happy. Don't worry.

Hasselblad is actively working on Phocus for Window. 2.0 is a major release and we are in beta at the moment. Please keep in mind that since the current release 1.2.1 in August, Microsoft has released a new OS - Windows 7 and I think it prudent that it is thoroughly tested prior to release.

Never an afterthought.....
The simple fact is the largest percentage of users are Mac. This is based on the number of total downloads for Mac and/or PC.
There are an incredible number of new features within 2.0 and the amount of feedback from users has been amazing and we (Hasselblad) has tried to incorporate the most often requested functions within this new release. Phocus for windows will be released shortly.
