Title: RAW photos and Photoshop 7
Post by: drew on September 02, 2004, 04:15:15 am
Unless you have bought the separate raw file plug-in for PS7, your raw files will not be recognised. Even then, it is possible that the support for the A2 under the plug-in for PS7 is not there. If you want to process the raw files in Photoshop, you need to buy the CS upgrade, having first established from Adobe that your camera is supported.

After a number of years with my Nikon 995 I purchased a Dimage A2. Learning to use it, I shot in JPEG and RAW formats. I had no problems opening the jpg pictures in Adobe Photoshop 7 but it would not recognize the MRW suffix of the RAW photos.
Does anyone have an answer to my problem?

This URL takes you to a photoshop plug-in that works with the A2 RAW images and is, in my opinion and that of many others, better for the A2 that PS RAW in either CS or 7.

It is shareware and well worth it.
