Title: How to speed up thumb nails in grid mode
Post by: Gurglamei on April 14, 2008, 11:19:25 am
If I open a catalog in grid view, I experience that LR is rather slow to generate previews (thumbnails).  If I scroll up/down and then stop, it takes a few seconds before the previews are generated.

However, if I change to loupe view the previews are generated very fast.  I can scroll through several hundred images and when I stop, the preview is almost instantly ready.

I have generated both standard and 1:1 previews for all images.  Is there anything more I can do to speed up generating previews (thumbnails) in the grid mode?
