Michael, we need the wise-ass remarks; they are part of what relieves the tension of the quotidian, lightens the burden of taxes, unexpected demands for money and health insurance, not to mention the need to draw upon said insurance.
So feel free to remark! Please?

Since this is obviously a profound topic that requires the deepest, most penetrating analysis, I think we need to hear from Schewe, as well as Mark and Jonathan (Andrew has already put in his bit).
Perhaps Dan whats-his-name can offer us a New, Improved method for performing Unsubscriptions using only 8 bits and the Illuminance chanel.

Too simple - before they close an account the requestor should have to apply an Action that converts the L channel into a layer, then adds a layer mask with a profile that looks like false teeth, invert it so it's down to the gums, and at that point the said L-L account disolves into cybernetic mush - sort of virtual baby food to nourish virtual............ OK, let's be polite and politically correct here. I'm done.

Of course it is, and sorry if it got to you the wrong way - not intended. All your seeing is a bit of well-intentioned humour directed at one person's silliness. But, we should all probably just let it pass into the oblivion it deserves.

Hell´s teeth, Mark, oblivion awaits us all - let´s do all we can to pretend it doesn´t exist!
I trust Michael did understand this is all in humour - if not, then it´s a timely warning about how awkward the internet can become where what would cause no doubts on the paper page can cause it on the screen. I have a deep-seated aversion to emoticons etc. but perhaps they really are necessary in this medium.
But then, that´s just another fine layer on the digital landscape.

Dorks already have their own internet, and unfortunately, we're sharing it with them. I used to hold some hope for the human species until I'd spent a couple of weeks perusing online forums. (LL is one of the rare exceptions)

If I can get some assistance hacking the IRS, I can finish my Photoshop action that will not only delete one's LL account, but erase all traces of their existence with the exception of drawing purple mustaches on any photo of the person posted anywhere online, and all of the fractions of cents from any of their online purchases get diverted to my secret Evil Base Lair purchase and maintenance fund.
I'm also accepting applications for Expendable Minion Corps volunteers.
