Just switched to Mac whats a good software for invoicing and keping track of unpaid invoices clients etc.
-
I've used M.Y.O.B. for many years and it has always worked quite well. I tend to ignore their yearly updates and so the cost has not been too bad...

Quickbooks for mac.

I've used Quickbooks which is very simple and easy but then switched to M.Y.O.B because of my accountant who uses it. I think you will find M.Y.O.B offers more room for attention to detail when it comes to accounting.
Basically both of them are good, but I would ask your accountant what he uses and
have the same one installed. I usually have one of his assistance once a month in the office and it helps to have everything organized using the same language. Also, I found his services to be less at the end of the month, since everything is updated on daily basis in real time using identical software.
However, if you are just starting, Quickbooks will do the job.

I've been using iBiz (http://www.iggsoftware.com/ibiz/). It's simple and does the trick for me though I'd like a bit more customizability in the invoices. They just released a v3 but I haven't upgraded yet.
Another to look at is Billable (http://clickablebliss.com/billable) but it does not have job presets.
The best billing solution (better than anything I've seen on the Mac at any rate) I've seen is a web application a web designer custom made for his business. He is currently working on making a commercial version called Flow (http://www.getflowing.com/) but there is no telling when that will be released.

I have been using InView by Hindsight software for years. It is a very complete package written on a database., and tailored to photographers. It does much more than invoicing and tracking recievables - pretty complete business and marleting solution. It's worth downloading a demo.

FileMaker Pro (currently at version 8.5) works great for invoicing, but you may have to design your own custom forms. This way you can feature your company name and create forms that fit your personal needs. In my situation ready-made forms did not work for me.
Designing your own forms with a database program is not all that difficult. Plus, it is something you only need to do once.

Both are specifically made for photographers. I havent used either, but have heard good reports about them.

Just curious with programs like Blinkbid. Of what use is an invoicing program that is not integrated into your overall accounting software?
