Title: Where to sell Hassy H stuff?
Post by: ssherman on February 08, 2007, 12:25:00 pm
Hi all.
I'm selling off some Hassy H stuff and am wondering if people know of medium format buy/sell boards out there in netland?

There seems to be very few forums for this sort of gear.

Is it OK to post FS items in this Luminous Landscape forum??? Can the admin(s) make a separate FS/Wanted category page??

We need something like Fred Miranda for MF and DB users

I would also like to see a separate forum for selling med format/digital. I think it should not be included in the regular forums.

I dont think there is a problem post should just start FS and only be for decent current kit : not just unloading old junk like my Mamiya Pro TL (any takers?? !!)

Should FS post reach more than say 10% of content then there is a problem that needs adressing

This came up some months ago and MR said a cautious OK...

Mr Sherman what do you have - 50? 100 ?

ps has everyone seen the ALPA on e-bay right now too expensive for me

If anybody is interested I have a 50mm lens, a 13mm extension tube and
a pretty beat rechargable grip. Also, for what it's worth, a polaroid back.

michael

You can try to sell cameras etc at fredmiranda.com. They are more into 35 MM DSLR's and Fred generally advises to buy from those withv a lot of posts that are known to the community. Still, if the price is right, stuff sells.

At OPF there's a buy and sell forum to recycle the currently excess great [a href=\"http://www.openphotographyforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=60] gear[/url] of serious photography. This community could very well be interested in your MF backs and cameras as a many struggle with meeting the price of new equipment. While I don't track the sales, most stuff is sold AFAIK. The posting could be a welcome opportunity for someone.

If you PM me and you have been posting in LL, and are thus known, then OPF will approve your posts in the buy and sell at OPF. This is just a courtesy for mutual benefit, not a call for members!

And other possible place to post in Photo.net, although I don't know how active the buy listing is now.
