Title: Roll paper feed problem on P800
Post by: Benny Profane on January 20, 2023, 02:19:31 pm
I haven't used the roll paper feeder on my P800 for a few years. Just tried to feed some paper, and it won't detect it. Is a switch disabled because it's dusty/dirty?

Can this thing be serviced? It's about six or seven years old, has made a ton of prints, I'm happy with it, but there must be a ton of paper dust in there, which may be my problem. The roller for sheet feeds is balky a lot, needs cleaning frequently.

Most likely it is just not in far enough. Slide your fingers in and use them to guide it through the rollers.
It needs to go in a long way until the display changes
Always cover the machine with something. I just use a piece of cloth.
