Excellent!

In a weird way it seems like a parody of Slobodan's recent "Mannequins" shot, but with trees instead of mannequins.

Beat me to the draw on that one! But yes, it was the first thing that struck me. Very nice, too. Simulacrum (in the positive sense)?

Yes. It is definitely not simply imitation. It is a fine image in its own right.
