Hello everyone,
As a very recent contributor to the forum, I'm not sure what to do in terms of picture sizes in this section: I will do 1,000 pixels wide to begin with, as I think that should be OK for most viewers. Please don't be mad at me if I haven't done things the way they're supposed to be done.
I intend to post all my photos in this thread, one or two at a time to give viewers time to give their feedback (which will be very much appreciated, thank you in advance), but also so as to keep them all in one place. Once again, please advise me if this is not the right way to do it here.
The photographs in this thread have all been taken in my beloved Brittany. EXIFs are included for the technically inclined. I will do my best to answer questions, should you have any. Thank you.

I agree; that would bring out the tiny ship (if that's what it is: it's hard to see).

First one is my favorite, the light is fantastic and this is Brittany (at least for me). The second one is also nice but more static.

Thank you very much for your kind comments and interesting feedback. Of course, it did strike me as well that possibly the little sailboat was not very visible/not visible enough, but as I do very, very little post-production work, I was reluctant to lighten up that area to make it more visible. Maybe I should, though, I will look into it.

The next two photographs have been taken in the little village of Saint-Cado. The first is of the very old Saint Cado oratory, which gets filled up twice a day by the ocean at high tide; and the second is a tiny fisherman's house which is a local icon.

This next one is what remains of the chapter room of the Saint-Maurice abbey in southern Finistère, and the second one is a long exposure at sunset near the town of Concarneau.
