Resize bug
« on: April 29, 2015, 06:18:52 pm »

Hi,

I came across a weird bug today in LR 6 when I tried to export an image. It happens when I want a specific size of the long edge in inches and specify a medium - high resolution (300 pixels per inch).

- Desired settings: Long edge: 12 inches, resolution: 300 ppi
- Original images were larger, so they required downsampling

I tested LR 6 in 2 different computers, different GPU settings (I think it does not matter anyway) and tried with RAW (NEF) and Tiff files.

The message I get warns that the maximum value is 217:

I tried the same in LR 5.7 and no issues at all. It also does not happen in LR 6 if I specify the length of the long edge in pixels (e.g. 3600 pixels)

I was curious if anybody else has the same issue.

Regards.

I've seen this issue reported in the Adobe U2U LR forum and others.

It seems to be a Windows-specific bug.
